Dr. Iftikhar prides himself in being a psychiatric consultant, and he has special interests in attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, and cognitive disorders. Dr. Iftikhar is dually certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and has been in clinical practice for over 11 years. He has worked in various clinical settings including state hospitals, clinics, home visits and has expertise in treating persons of all age groupss. 

Dr. Iftikhar utilizes his doctoral training in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry to provide comprehensive care, addressing both the physical and mental health needs of patients. His process begins with a thorough initial psychiatric evaluation in our relaxed, Brooklyn psychiatry clinic or through Telemedicine from the comfort of your home. His treatment plan may include lifestyle modifications, vitamins, talk therapy, medication, and/or additional testing.
